Job summary

TalentXpert in the United States is seeking an Integration Engineer to develop, maintain, and support enterprise integration solutions using BizTalk Server, Apache NiFi, XSLT, Smooks, XML, APIs, and SQL Server.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on integration experience with EDI, XML, REST/SOAP APIs, databases, SFTP, and file-based integrations, and will collaborate with engineering teams to modernize existing solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience developing or supporting enterprise application integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server.
• Experience with Apache NiFi or similar integration technologies.
• Working knowledge of XSLT, XPath, XML, and XSD.
• Experience with Smooks transformations is preferred.
• Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and SFTP/file-based integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn existing integration solutions and contribute to new development and modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support BizTalk applications, schemas, maps, orchestrations, pipelines, and ports.
• Develop and maintain Apache NiFi integration and data flows.
• Create and maintain transformations using XSLT, XPath, XML/XSD, and Smooks.
• Develop and support EDI/B2B integrations, including ANSI X12 transactions.
• Integrate applications using REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, XML, JSON, databases, and flat files.
• Develop and troubleshoot SQL Server/T-SQL integration components.
• Troubleshoot mapping, routing, connectivity, data, and production integration issues.
• Assist with maintaining and modernizing existing integration solutions.
• Build reusable integration, transformation, validation, logging, and error‑handling components.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, architects, and application teams.
