Job summary

Upstaff LTD is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to join our Integration team. You will work with BizTalk and MuleSoft interfaces across cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and collaborate with infrastructure and system administrators to deliver robust API and ESB solutions.

You will design interface specifications, develop Web Services and APIs, and troubleshoot cross-system issues while coordinating with stakeholders until full resolution. On-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software/systems development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of development experience with MuleSoft.
• 3+ years in .NET and/or Java environments.
• 3+ years developing Web Services and APIs.
• 3+ years of hands-on MS SQL Server experience including stored procedures.
• Experience in specs writing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within an Integration team with infrastructure and sysadmin groups.
• Develop interfaces using MuleSoft and BizTalk in .NET/Java environments.
• Create and maintain API specifications and technical docs.
• Troubleshoot cross-system interface issues and coordinate resolution.
• Provide on-call support (paid) for 24/7 coverage.

• Work with interfaces in BizTalk (2016/2020) and MuleSoft environments.

• Hands-on experience with API Management and ESB tools.
• Work with message queuing servers, including IBM MQ and RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Software development within the Visual Studio environment.
• Write interface specification documents (Requirements, Technical Specification, and Documentation).
• Provide support and troubleshooting for cross-system interface issues, coordinating with all relevant parties until full resolution.
• This role may require being on call (paid) to provide 24/7 support, including on-site arrival at organizational sites if necessary.

Requirements

• Education (one of the following):
  Academic Degree (B.Sc. / B.A.) or Practical Engineer diploma with an emphasis on Telecommunications, Technology, or Industrial Engineering & Management —plus at least 3 years of software/systems development experience.
  Graduate of relevant professional tech courses with a cumulative duration of at least 500 academic hours —plus at least 5 years of software/systems development experience.
• At least 8 yearsof hands-on software/systems development experience.
