Job description

As part of the Interfaces and Integration Team (Technology & Digital), our client is looking for an Integration Engineer with Epic Bridges to continue integrating various locations, systems, applications, etc., into their enterprise environment. The organization is planning an Epic implementation, and this candidate will assist in the conversion/integration of the suite of interfaces.

Role: Integration Engineer - Epic Bridges

Location: Miami, FL (Remote with periodic onsite travel)

Duration: 6-month extendable contract

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of EPIC Bridges experience. COREPOINT is a plus. Epic Bridges certified.
• Experience creating and executing solutions for integrating financial and clinical data across multiple systems.
• Expertise with HL7 message formats (e.g., ADT, ORM, ORU, DFT, RDE, MDM, SIU, etc.).
• Understanding of data structures and technical specifications detailing data elements and HL7 message structures.
• Basic networking knowledge of networking and different connectivity solutions (VPN, SFTP, TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.).
• Ability to respond to ad hoc user interface questions and provide proactive support by monitoring live connections.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining interface environment documentation.
• Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex HL7 interface issues.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on severity of user impact and resolve major incidents within established time limits.
• Experience working in a healthcare HIPAA compliant environment.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments, sharing knowledge with peers.
• Thorough knowledge of computer systems, software, decision support systems, monitoring, report writing tools, and electronic communication.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range is $105,000 - $130,000 per year. Benefits include healthcare, PTO, pension plan, 403b. For more details, see the benefits guide.
