Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an Engineer in Marlborough, MA to design and develop integration solutions using IBM ACE, API Connect, and IBM DataPower. You will build REST/SOAP services, manage APIs, and handle messaging patterns across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities include transforming data formats, configuring MQ resources, and ensuring secure communications with SSL/TLS and encryption.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing integration solutions with IBM ACE.
• Proficient in REST APIs, SOAP services, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Hands-on with MQ queues, channels, and messaging patterns.
• Knowledge of API management and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration solutions using IBM ACE flows, ESQL, Java Compute Nodes, and AWS services.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, SOAP services, and event-driven integrations.
• Develop message transformation and routing for XML/JSON/CSV formats.
• Design and configure MQ queues, channels, and queue managers.
• Develop MPGW, Web Service Proxies, XML Firewalls, and API security policies.
• Implement SSL/TLS, authentication, and encryption standards.
• Perform protocol transformations using XSLT and DataPower services.
• Create and manage APIs via IBM API Connect, including products, plans, catalogs, and developer portal.
• Manage API lifecycle from design to retirement.
• Create reusable logging, exception handling, monitoring, and recovery frameworks.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and configure Multi-Protocol Gateways (MPGW), Web Service Proxies, XML Firewalls, and API security policies.
• Implement SSL/TLS certificates, authentication, authorization, and encryption standards.
• Perform protocol transformations (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML) using XSLT and DataPower services.
• Design, develop, publish, and manage APIs using IBM API Connect.
• Create API Products, Plans, Catalogs, and Developer Portal configurations.
• Manage API lifecycle including design, testing, versioning, publishing, deprecation, and retirement.
• Create reusable frameworks for logging, exception handling, monitoring, and error recovery.
