Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Integration/Deployment Engineer to be onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.

You will drive the technical implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and operational transition of new capabilities to support modernization initiatives. Collaboration with Engineering, Development, Test, and Cybersecurity is essential to ensure deployments succeed in operational environments.

Qualificações

• Active Security+ certificate (with CE) and ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity/Space Systems or related field
• 8+ years of experience in space operations/IT/systems administration or 5+ years with relevant degree
• Active TS/SCI eligibility is preferred
• Travel up to four weeks per year and on-site 5 days a week

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, integrate, and validate hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
• Perform system integration and troubleshooting throughout deployment activities.
• Develop deployment procedures, documentation, implementation guides, and runbooks.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Development, Test, Cybersecurity, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Support system verification, validation, and operational acceptance testing.
• Recommend improvements to deployment processes and standards.
• Support customer site installation activities and travel as required

Kratos is seeking an Integration/Deployment Engineer to be onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.

The Integration/Deployment Engineer is responsible for the technical implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and operational transition of new capabilities supporting modernization initiatives. This position collaborates with Engineering, Development, Test, and Cybersecurity to ensure new capabilities are successfully deployed into operational environments.

Responsibilities include:

• Execute integration, deployment, and transition activities supporting modernization initiatives.
• Install, configure, integrate, and validate new hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
• Perform system integration, troubleshooting, and technical problem resolution throughout deployment activities.
• Develop and maintain deployment procedures, technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational runbooks.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Development, Test, Cybersecurity, and Operations to resolve integration issues and deployment risks.
• Support system verification, validation, and operational acceptance testing.
• Recommend improvements to integration processes, deployment procedures, and technical standards.
• Support customer site installation activities and travel when required.

Experience and Skills

• 2-5 years experiencedengineer with systems administrator experience and strong infrastructure integration ability
• BA/BS degree preferrably inInformation Technology/Cybersecurity/Space Systems
• Candidates must have at least eight years of experience in space operations/IT/Systems Administration or five years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• The position requires an active Security+ Certificate with CE and a minimum SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
• The role requires the ability to travel for up to four weeks per year (less than 10% of the time) and be physically present 5 days a week.
• Favorable adjudication of TS/SCI is required to remain in role.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience supporting Department of Defense or other mission-critical systems.
• Experience integrating enterprise hardware, software, and infrastructure.
• VMware or equivalent administration experience.
• Windows Server and Linux system administration.
• Enterprise networking experience (routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP).
• Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or containerized applications.
• Experience with system integration, deployment, or technical implementation projects.
• Experience working in classified or air-gapped environments.
• Familiarity with Agile development and DevSecOps practices.

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Competitive salary based on experience and education Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000
