Job summary

InterSources Inc. is seeking a Deployment Consultant to work closely with clients, fintech partners, product teams, and engineering teams through the deployment lifecycle.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with APIs, SSO, file transmissions, connectivity, testing, and integration troubleshooting, paired with excellent client communication and consulting skills. This is an individual contributor role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software deployment, product implementation, integration, technical consulting, client management, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with APIs and API testing is required.
• Hands-on experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication/integration technologies.
• Direct experience working with external clients/customers in a technical or consulting role.
• Strong verbal and written communication, plus stakeholder management.

Job description

The Deployment Consultant will work closely with clients, fintech partners, product teams, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders throughout the deployment lifecycle. The role requires strong technical knowledge of APIs, Single Sign-On (SSO), file transmissions, connectivity, testing, and integration troubleshooting, combined with excellent client communication and consulting skills.

This is an individual contributor role and does not have people-management responsibilities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software deployment, product implementation, integration, technical consulting, client management, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with APIs and API testing is required.
• Experience with Postman, Insomnia, or similar API testing tools.
• Hands-on experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication/integration technologies.
• Experience with file transmissions, system connectivity, and integration troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with external clients/customers in a technical or consulting capacity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting software testing, integration testing, UAT, or deployment validation.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate resolution across multiple teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Services, Wealth Management, Banking, Investment Management, Brokerage, or Fintech.
