Job summary

GardaWorld Federal Services LLC is seeking an Integration and Training Instructor to conduct training for TO personnel overseas, including refresher and firearms qualification sessions. The role includes directing and mentoring protective security teams and coordinating mission planning with TOC and RSO staff.

The position requires U.S. citizenship, several years of security instruction and protective security experience, and the ability to operate in overseas locations with travel.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum of 2 years as an instructor in a security field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an FTE firearms instructor in government training assignments.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in protective security assignments, including 2 years in supervisory roles and 6 months in protective security under WPS III or predecessors.

POSITION SUMMARY INFORMATION: DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Job Summary: The Integration and Training Instructor conducts training for TO personnel.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conduct integration training for personnel in overseas locations.
• Coordinate and conduct refresher training and firearms re-qualifications for personnel.
• At the team level, direct and mentor integrated protective security personnel and operations on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure that PRS assignments conducted with protective security personnel are conducted in accordance with Post policy.
• In the absence of a Shift Leader, coordinate initial mission planning for PRS assignments conducted with protective security personnel, including coordination with the TOC and other RSO personnel to assign and schedule protective assignments, including scheduling route and site surveys.
• Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions, as required.

Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a minimum of (2) years as an instructor in a security field.
• Must possess a minimum of one (1) year experience working as a FTE firearms instructor; this experience must have been earned as part of other federal, state, or local government training assignments.
• Must possess a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in protective security assignments.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been in a supervisory or in-charge capacity.
  • A minimum of six (6) months of this experience must have been in protective security under WPS III or any of its predecessor contracts.

During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The employee is frequently required to move about inside the facility to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
