Job title: Integrated Warehousing Services (IWS) – Director of Warehousing Product Development

Job location: New York - US Eastern Region

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Director of Warehousing Product Development for our Integrated Warehousing Services division. In this role, you will be responsible for sales managing and coordinating sales opportunities to grow our IWS services. Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop opportunities to increase our warehousing capacity and capabilities in the region.
2. Communicate warehousing capacity and capabilities to sales teams and other internal stakeholders.
3. Manage a sales goal driven pipeline.
4. Manage multiple Requests For Quotations (RFQs) at a time.
5. Manage daily inquiries and ad-hoc quote requests.
6. Generate customer quotations and proposal responses with IWS tools.
7. Negotiate rates with customer and warehousing provider.
8. Work with DHL Legal and Risk teams in negotiating contract terms.
9. Manage call schedules directly or through sales owners.
10. Maintain a prompt email response time and consistent communication.
11. Act as high level escalation/subject matter expert for your accounts.
12. Ensure onboarding calls are scheduled.
13. Ensure the warehousing provider provides a list of needed actions to the customer.
14. Ensure the customer is returning the required information timely.
15. Create billing template and communicate new account to billing team.
16. Work with warehouse or 3PL manager to onboard the facility.

Salary: $102,756 - $137,000 (Based on Experience) JFK Candidates

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Contract logistics experience required.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time with different deadlines.
4. Excellent customer service skills including an understanding of how to de-escalate situations.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including 365: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
6. Solid understanding of Warehousing operations & sales.
7. Experience with customer Onboarding and project management.
