Job Title & Specialty Area: Integrated Therapy Services

Location: Dallas, TX | Plano, TX

Shift: ALL

Effective in summer 2025, the Integrated Therapy Unit (ITU) will be relocated to our Children’s Health Plano campus. New hires must be committed to working at our current Dallas campus location until the transition to Plano is complete .

About The Job

As part of the multidisciplinary team, this position will provide care of patients with the following diagnosis: Neuro-rehab, Pulmonary and Feeding disorders. Our Children’s House accepts admissions from Emergency Rooms throughout Dallas.

Some Highlighted Responsibilities

  • Works with a multidisciplinary team and coordinates care with Provider, Therapist, Child Life, Social worker, Dietitian and Respiratory Therapy.
  • Provides education to patients and families. Patients at Our Children’s House stay anywhere from one week to 4 weeks.
  • This Nurse will need to be comfortable working with vents & trachs, neuro-rehab patients and patients with feeding disorders.

Qualifications

Experience: 1 year of RN experience

Education: BSN

License: TX RN License

Certification: AHA BLS
