Northwood is seeking a Test Engineer to lead integrated test development from concept through operations, shaping test strategy and execution plans for space infrastructure hardware.

You will run qualification campaigns, manage HITL validation, and own EMI/EMC certification paths, including pre-compliance work and documentation. The role spans RF/test hardware design and CI/CD integration for robust testbeds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in Linux-based environments.
• Familiarity with basic computer networking.
• Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment such as power supplies, DC loads, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.

Responsabilités

• Lead integrated test development from concept through operations, including test strategy, requirements, and execution plans.
• Run qualification and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) campaigns to validate system performance.
• Own the path to certification for EMI/EMC and applicable standards (MIL-STD-461, FCC/CE), including pre-compliance testing, design-for-compliance input, and certification documentation.
• Design hardware, wiring, electrical systems, fixtures, harnesses, and rack integration for electrical and RF testing.
• Create device and subsystem simulators for HITL testbeds and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Design production test setups, execute low-quantity production tests, and own test maintainability and continuous improvement.
