Job summary

Northwood Space is seeking an engineer to build development systems ensuring hardware reliability from prototype to operations. You will own test development, HITL testbeds, and customer integration milestones for modem test in a hands‑on role bridging electronics, software, and systems integration.

The role focuses on test strategy, EMI/EMC certification workflows, and creating scalable test infrastructure, with opportunities to influence rapid manufacturing cycles and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands‑on Linux & basic networking experience.
• Experience with electrical test equipment and HITL.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated test development from concept through operations.
• Run qualification and HITL campaigns.
• Coordinate EMI/EMC pre‑compliance testing and certification docs.
• Design test hardware, fixtures, and harnesses for RF tests.
• Develop HITL simulators and integrate into CI/CD.
• Establish production test setups for rapid manufacturing.
• Maintain test assets and implement continuous improvements.
