VSC Fire & Security in Greenville, SC is seeking a Fire Alarm - Low Voltage Technician to install and service integrated systems, including fire alarms, intrusion, access control, CCTV, and related equipment.

You will analyze needs, conduct tests, read plans, and ensure safe, compliant work while coordinating with teammates. The role requires at least one year of experience and a keen eye for detail; valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience installing commercial construction Integrated Systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proficient in following instructions in equipment manuals, comprehending, and translating manuals into simple steps.
• Reliable transportation and valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze needs and product requirements for installation and/or service.
• Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate product, service, or process performance.
• Operate industry-specific tools to ensure proper installation and/or service.
• Identify and evaluate complex problems, review information, and implement corrective action plans.
• Utilize mathematical skills for computations and problem-solving.
• Apply logic and reasoning to assess alternative solutions and approaches to problems.
• Identify measures and actions to improve system performance.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, job site personnel, and vendors.
