Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking an Integrated Systems Technician to install and service integrated systems across sites. The role involves planning, directing and coordinating installation activities, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and adherence to procedures.

The position requires clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret electrical plans and manuals.

Qualifications

• One year of experience installing commercial construction Integrated Systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proficient in following equipment manuals, extracting instructions into simple steps.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for company vehicle.
• May require participation in on-call rotation.
• Desirable: experience/training in specialized systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze needs and product requirements for installation and/or service.
• Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate product, service, or process performance.
• Operate industry-specific tools to ensure proper installation and/or service.
• Identify and evaluate problems, review information, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate and communicate with team and vendors to ensure project progress.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for installation and service of Integrated Systems.
• Maintain proper risk management and safety procedures on job sites per VSC.
• Oversee, plan, schedule, and prioritize the work of others as needed.
