VSC Fire & Security in Dallas, TX is seeking an Integrated Systems Service Technician to service and support fire alarm, security, camera, and access control systems across client sites.

You will diagnose issues, install and test integrated solutions, and coordinate with customers to ensure reliable operation. The role offers competitive pay, company vehicle, equipment, and benefits, with opportunities for growth and NICET‑related certification support.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience servicing fire alarm and security systems.
• Proficient reading plans and device documentation with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and meet service schedules.
• Valid State Driver's License and clean driving record for company vehicle.
• Desirable NICET I/III in FAS or ITFAS and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and repair fire alarm, security, camera, access control, and suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and respond to false alarms.
• Program and test system configurations for proper operation.
• Consult with clients and provide repair recommendations.
• Read blueprints to determine installation requirements.
• Run wiring, install hardware, and connect electrical components.
• Explain system operation to end users and provide ongoing support.
• Be on call as required and assist with service documentation.
