A Child's Place at Unity House of Troy in Albany, NY is seeking Master’s Level Special Education Teachers (Birth–Grade 2 certified) to join our integrated preschool setting.

Join a co-teaching model providing evidence-based instruction to identified children, with a 35-hour workweek and no nights or weekends. Eligible candidates receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Special Education.
• NYS Certification: Students with Disabilities Birth–Grade 2.
• Proficient writing and computer skills.
• Ability to implement and adapt behavior support plans.
• Reliable transportation & NYS driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Assess developmental and educational needs of preschoolers with special needs.
• Design and implement individualized, evidence-based instruction.
• Perform student assessment and evaluation required.
• Work with a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
• Collaborate with all staff, teachers, therapists, administrators and families to benefit the children served.
• Conduct evaluations and maintain required documentation.
• Promote a classroom of inclusion and belonging.
• Work-Life Balance : 35-hour workweek, no nights or weekends.

Salary Range: $61,121.97 To $63,775.02 Annually
