Job summary

Unity House, Albany, NY, seeks a CFY Speech-Language Pathologist for our A Child’s Place program. The role offers a full-time schedule, Monday–Friday daytime hours, and a supportive team to complete Clinical Fellowship.

Responsibilities include evaluating young children, creating therapy plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Sign-on bonuses apply for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Pediatric experience or internship preferred.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Evaluate and treat children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Use play-based activities to engage children.
• Provide services in daycare centers, preschools, client homes, and special education settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reports.
• Collaborate with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and multidisciplinary team.
• Support a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.

A Child’s Place at Unity House is seeking full-time CFY Speech-Language Pathologists to join our early childhood program. This is a great opportunity for new graduates to complete their Clinical Fellowship Year in a supportive, team-based environment.

Sign-On Bonus

• $5,000 for eligible candidates

• CFY candidates that complete their required one-year supervised rotation are eligible for an additional $5,000 sign on bonus, if continued employment at A Child’s Place!

Key Responsibilities
