Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in a related field required

Responsibilities

  • Supervise ACT Team staff, including performance plans, hiring, training, and workload management
  • Provide clinical leadership to ensure ACT team delivers evidence-based care and optimal outcomes
  • Maintain fidelity to ACT and participate in fidelity measurement activities
  • Oversee program fiscal accountability and revenue maximization
  • Provide regular clinical supervision and manage regulatory requirements for CSP
  • Support quality improvement and quality assurance initiatives with BHS Research and Quality teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Integrated Services Manager

Department: Behavioral Health Services (BHS)

Hourly/Salary Range: $79,268.80 - $118,913.60/yr

Job Summary

The Integrated Service Manager is a leadership position with supervisory responsibilities of an interdisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) - Community Support Program (CSP) team in the CARS department. This specific position has direct responsibility for the maintenance and oversight of this team that provides comprehensive and direct clinical care to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness who have multiple risk factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise Staff on the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team - Prepare and evaluate staff performance plans, interviewing and hiring staff for multidisciplinary team, staff training and orientation, handle disciplinary and performance issues, manage staff workloads, and schedule staff activities.
  • Clinical Leadership of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team - Using the evidence-based practices of ACT, directs team members to deliver services that promote optimal clinical outcomes. Responsible for program design and implementation. Directs day-to-day clinical operations. Leads treatment planning, admissions and discharges.
  • Maintains Evidence-based Practice Fidelity - Works with team to implement standards and practices that achieve full fidelity of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) and assists with fidelity measurement activities.
  • Maintains Program Fiscal Accountability - Provides oversight of team functions to ensure appropriate staff productivity measures and ensures revenue maximization through all funders.
  • Clinical Supervision - Provides regular clinical supervision through daily team meetings and weekly individual supervision with all multidisciplinary team members.
  • Regulatory Oversight - Works independently and in collaboration with CARS Community Support Program (CSP) leadership to ensure all regulatory measures of a CSP outlined in DHS 63 are met.
  • Quality Improvement - Works with the ACT team and BHS Research and Quality team to conduct annual and as-needed quality improvement projects.
  • Quality Assurance - Develops systematic means of measuring the quality of both services and documentation to ensure the ACT team services are of the highest standard.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education, License/Certification and Experiences

  • Current residency within the State of Wisconsin upon application required
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and a reliable insured vehicle are required and must be maintained throughout incumbency
  • Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Counseling, Nursing or closely related field required
  • Three (3) years or more of work experience in Mental Health or Substance Abuse required
  • One (1) year or more of work experience in a Supervisory or Management role required
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or an approved variance from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services to serve as a CSP Clinical Coordinator based on applicable experience.
  • Candidates must have either 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience in a practice where the majority of clients are adults living with a chronic mental illness or 1,500 hours of supervised clinical experience in a Community Support Program
  • Clinical knowledge of the needs of individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, co-occurring disorders and the civil legal system is required
  • Basic knowledge of all related computer and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams required

Preferred Education, License/Certification and Experiences

  • Knowledge and experience supervising Evidenced Based Practice of Assertive Community Treatment is preferred
