Job summary

Lynk Engineers in Salt Lake City seeks an experienced Security & Technology Designer to plan, design, and document low-voltage systems for diverse AEC projects. You will work with architects, owners, and contractors to deliver code-compliant, scalable solutions that enhance safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes BIM modeling in Revit, detailed construction documentation, and coordinating with related building systems to support project delivery through design development to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-7+ years in security or low-voltage system design within AEC or building tech environments.
• Experience producing security system construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion, intercom).
• Coordinate security system integration with architecture, electrical, and IT networks.
• Develop BIM models and AutoCAD drawings per standards; support permit and construction documents.
• Support multidisciplinary coordination meetings and reviews; assist with RFI responses and site visits.
