Qualifications

  • Experience selling integrated security solutions, including CCTV/IP video, access control, intrusion detection, networking, and cabling.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and sales forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

As a proactive Account Executive with Bosch Building Technologies, you will be responsible for achieving sales revenue goals, developing, and maintaining valued customer relationships, expanding the company's current customer base, and developing and maintaining professional selling skills. Your business development skills combined with your technical knowledge of the market and contacts within the industry will lead to success. Your business acumen and ability to communicate with stakeholders and effectively identify opportunities will be crucial to ensuring the success of our client engagements.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic territory and account sales plan to achieve and exceed annual revenue and margin objectives across Bosch Building Technologies' portfolio of integrated security solutions, including video surveillance (CCTV), access control, intrusion detection, networking infrastructure, structured cabling, and enterprise security platforms.

Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities while expanding relationships within existing customer accounts to drive long-term revenue growth.

Establish trusted advisor relationships with end users, consultants, architects, general contractors, electrical contractors, technology integrators, and key decision-makers.

Conduct customer needs assessments and provide consultative solutions that align security technologies with operational, compliance, and business objectives.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, project management, and technical teams to develop comprehensive security and infrastructure solutions that meet client requirements.

Prepare and deliver professional presentations, solution demonstrations, proposals, and bid responses for integrated security and low-voltage infrastructure projects.

Promote and sell enterprise-level security solutions, including IP video surveillance, access control systems, integrated security management platforms, network infrastructure, and structured cabling systems.

Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through project award, contract negotiation, and client onboarding.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer activity records, opportunity pipelines, and account plans within the company CRM platform.

Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, competitor activities, and industry developments to position Bosch Building Technologies as a preferred security technology partner.

Participate in industry associations, networking events, trade shows, and customer engagement activities to strengthen brand presence and generate new business opportunities.

Support customers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful solution delivery, customer satisfaction, and repeat business.

Ability to interpret construction drawings, security designs, specifications, and project requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of successful business development or outside sales experience within the integrated security, electronic security, low-voltage systems, or technology solutions industry.

Demonstrated experience selling integrated security solutions, including video surveillance (CCTV/IP video), access control, intrusion detection systems, networking infrastructure, and structured cabling solutions.

Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and sales forecasting tools.

  • Experience selling complex integrated solutions involving access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, structured cabling, corporate AV, or other related systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline preferred. Relevant industry certifications and technical training are highly valued.

Experience selling integrated security systems for commercial, healthcare, education, government, data center, industrial, utility, transportation, or critical infrastructure markets.

Knowledge of leading security technologies and manufacturers within the video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and security management platform sectors.

  • Knowledge of the following technologies is required: IP networks, low voltage electronics, power and communications, Windows XP or 7 workstations, Microsoft Office products

Industry certifications such as ASIS, Security Industry Association (SIA), BICSI, Axis Communications, Genetec, LenelS2, Software House, CCNA, or equivalent is highly desirable.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers
  • Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment
  • Sitting, standing, walking in office environments and construction sites
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be required to work at heights over 1.8m (6 feet)

In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate
  • Will be required to be on site with customers or contractors, with or without Paladin colleagues to manage the expectations and deliverables. Sites range from general office environments to new construction.
  • Driving to customer sites is required
  • Limited overnight travel may be required
