The Integrated Sciences Laboratory Infrastructure and Operations Manager in the Kravis Department of Integrated Sciences is responsible for the operation, maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement of the physical infrastructure and scientific instrumentation that support laboratory teaching and research in the Robert Day Sciences Center. The manager works closely with faculty, staff, vendors, contractors, and College units including Facilities and Campus Services and Public Security, to ensure that laboratories, scientific equipment, and building systems are safe, reliable, and fully operational. The successful candidate will have familiarity with scientific instrumentation and laboratory infrastructure, together with a demonstrated willingness and ability to learn the operation of new equipment and systems. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills, as well as the ability to respond effectively to both routine operational needs and unexpected equipment or facility issues.
The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Regular hours may vary due to needs of the College or division and may include periodic work after hours and on weekends.
This is a regular, full-time, 12-month, non-exempt, benefits-eligible position.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds from the ground to the waist without assistance and climb ladders up to 6 feet unassisted.
The anticipated pay range is $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None. REPORTS TO: This position reports to the chair of the Kravis Department of Integrated Sciences or their designee.
Employees are expected to wear attire that is appropriate to the office or department in which they work.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a full consumer background check.
