Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Dallas, TX is seeking a Program Planner to support Senior Integrated Program Planners in developing and maintaining comprehensive program plans and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). The role requires building strong relationships, analyzing complex data, and ensuring schedules align with program objectives.

You will work on networked schedules, risk analyses, and EVM integration, contributing to missile defense and hypersonic technology programs.

Qualifications

  • Exposure to network-scheduling tools (MS Project, OpenPlan, Primavera, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with networked schedules and critical-path methodology
  • Experience delivering briefings to teams
  • Knowledge of schedule performance-management techniques, e.g., Earned Value Management
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance

  • Supporting the implementation and monitoring of the Earned Value Management (EVM) system through cost and schedule integration throughout the program lifecycle

Our team drives program execution through effective relationship building and analysis of complex data to support the preparation and maintenance of program schedules and plans.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Program Planner, you will support Senior Integrated Program Planners in developing and maintaining comprehensive program plans and schedules.

Your Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)
  • Supporting the preparation, execution, and maintenance of new or existing planning products
  • Developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) leveraging the Program Summary Master Schedules (PSMS)

Basic Qualifications
  • Exposure to network‑scheduling tools (MS Project, OpenPlan, Primavera, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities
  • Experience with networked schedules and critical‑path methodology
  • Experience delivering briefings to team members and project teams

  • Must be a US citzen and have the ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance

  • 3+years of experience in planning or program‑management‑related discipline

  • Experience with production, sustainment, or depot operations
  • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development
  • Proposal knowledge

  • Advanced Excel skill set (macros, lookup tables, VBA)
  • Exposure to schedule risk‑assessment processes/tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
