Job summary

SAN-Ysidro-Health seeks a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to perform psychological assessments and deliver brief, evidence-based treatment within a primary care behavioral health model for adults, older adults, children and families in a primary care setting.

Under the Chief Behavioral Health Officer, you will collaborate with primary care providers to develop sound treatment plans, respond to crises, and ensure timely EMR documentation while aligning with regulatory and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Terminal graduate training in psychotherapy (PsyD/PhD) from an accredited program.
• California license in psychology and current credentials.
• Experience delivering integrated behavioral health in primary care settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and provides brief, evidence-based psychological/behavioral health interventions.
• Consults with clinical staff and PCPs regarding care and progress using EMR documentation.
• Develops negotiated care plans with patients and PCPs, updating as needed.
• Maintains accurate, timely electronic medical records and reports.
• Performs crisis interventions, including suicide risk assessments and safety planning.
