Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking an Integrated Operations IT Auditor to plan, execute, and report on risk-based audits across business operations and technology environments. The role requires understanding interdependencies between operations, data, and technology and delivering actionable control improvements.

You will assess governance, risk management, and internal controls, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to strategic audit planning under management guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Information Systems, Audit, or a related field and 1+ years of professional experience in banking, financial services, audit, accounting, business operations, information technology, or a related discipline.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in banking, financial services, audit, accounting, business operations, information technology, or a related discipline.
• Exposure to AI tools, data analytics tools, and/or automation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of operational, financial, compliance, and IT audits.
• Perform audit testing to evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls
• Document audit workpapers that clearly support testing performed and conclusions reached.
• With limited supervision, conduct interviews to gather pertinent information regarding department functions, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in the testing of annual FDICIA controls including performing and documenting walkthroughs and testing reconciliations.
