Job summary

Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking an experienced Scheduling Specialist to manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) within the Knowledge Management portal, aligning with contractual and program objectives.

You will perform critical path analysis, track progress, analyze risks, and coordinate with Program Management and Technical Delivery Teams to ensure on-time delivery across all CIS mission phases.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience in schedule management or integration planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Experience using project management and scheduling tools (MS Project, Planner, Jira).

This role supports national defense by managing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) within the Knowledge Management portal and ensuring alignment with contractual and program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Own your opportunity to support national defense
• Build, maintain, and baseline the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) within the Knowledge Management portal, ensuring alignment with contractual and program objectives
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule health checks, and risk identification across engineering, operational, and tech refresh milestones
• Collaborate closely with Program Management and Technical Delivery Teams to develop synchronized schedules that support all phases of CIS mission execution
• Track progress, monitor variances, and recommend or implement corrective actions to maintain schedule integrity and on-time delivery
• Communicate schedule impacts, dependencies, and forecasts to leadership, ensuring informed decision-making and mission continuity
• Support transition activities by sequencing legacy and new contract workflows, providing visibility into resource loading, task sequencing, and readiness for transition gates

Requirements

• 6+ years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
• Experience using project management and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Planner, Jira, etc.)
• Familiarity with Service Central
• 3+ years of experience developing or managing schedules within DoW, IC, or engineering environments
• US citizenship required
