Job summary

Cheshire East Council is seeking an Integrated Front Door Social Worker in Crewe to join a fast-paced safeguarding team. You will assess referrals, undertake initial enquiries, and work with multi-agency partners to ensure timely, appropriate support for children and families.

The role requires registration with Social Work England, experience in statutory children’s social care, and strong analytical and decision-making skills. Hybrid/remote options and a generous leave package are available.

About you
  • You have experience working in a statutory children's social care setting.
  • You can thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • You are registered with Social Work England.
  • You'll bring strong analytical and decision-making skills to manage complex situations.
  • Previous front door experience is desirable but not essential - you'll receive support and development to succeed.
