Job summary

ABM Industries in Honolulu seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee client relations and deliver cost-effective facility services at the assigned site, reporting to the VP of Integrated Facility Services. The role focuses on sustaining high customer satisfaction and ensuring service delivery meets contract terms.

You will manage budgets, coordinate maintenance across mechanical, electrical and building systems, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or comparable experience.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Working knowledge of two or more building trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Flexibility to work non-standard days and hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintains constant communication with the customer to ensure satisfaction.
• Delivers high-quality O&M services for building systems including janitorial, security, and related operations.
• Acts as primary liaison with customer departments and ensures timely issue resolution.
• Prepares monthly status reports to the customer and ABM management.
• Assists in developing and managing the annual facility budget and reports budget variances.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and ABM policies.
