Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Integrated Occupational Therapy Team in Helensburgh and Lomond, working across community, reablement and hospital prevention and discharge.

You will have a broad skill mix and carry a complex caseload in the community setting, providing day to day supervision and support to the OT team, deputising for the Team Lead, and working with statutory and third sector partners.

Qualifications

• Essential: highly motivated and confident with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team; self-awareness and adaptability to change.
• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy; HCPC registration; full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Work across Community, Reablement and Hospital Prevention and Discharge.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and support to the OT team including peers and junior staff; deputise for the Team Lead.
• Collaborate closely with statutory and third sector organisations.
