Job summary

Terros Health is seeking a Health Center Director for our 51st Avenue Recovery Health Center in west Phoenix, AZ. You will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated behavioral health and primary care, shaping a patient-centered culture and outcomes across the site.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in integrated care or FQHC settings, strong supervisory experience, and familiarity with RBHA systems. An LCSW or LPC is preferred; a master’s degree in a related field is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must have a master’s degree in behavioral health, health care administration, public health, or related field, or a bachelor’s in the field with 4 years leadership experience, or GED with 6 years leadership experience.
• Arizona Behavioral Health Licensed Professional preferred / Independent License strongly preferred
• At least 5 years of integrated health care or FQHC experience
• At least 3 years of leadership experience
• Experience with medical and/or behavioral health documentation and billing standards
• Experience working with physicians, medical leadership, practice managers, and clinicians; EHR and billing familiarity (NextGen preferred)
• Proficient with computer systems including NextGen EHR, Outlook, and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Acts as administrative supervisor of a Federally Qualified Health Center providing outpatient behavioral and physical health care.
• Provides supervision, training and mentoring for direct and non-direct reports.
• Evaluates patient care and promotes high quality service.
• Creates an environment focused on outstanding patient experience.
• Supervises site operations ensuring compliance with policies, laws, licensure, contracts and CARF standards.
• Collaborates with clinical leadership and service lines for quality improvement.
• Uses clinical and financial data to drive performance improvement.
