Job summary

El Rio Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Professional to join our Tucson-based integrated care team. The role focuses on primary care behavioral health, crisis management, mental health assessment, counseling, and coordination of care within the clinic setting.

The BHP will collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams to deliver whole-person care, ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, and support community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral health required.
• Licensed Behavioral Health Professional in Arizona or eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Level I fingerprint clearance required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused clinical services including assessment, psychotherapy, and coordination of care.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to support behavioral health in primary care settings.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA and policies.
• Develop treatment plans with measurable goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with medical and behavioral health teams to ensure integrated care.
