Clive Behavioral Health in Iowa is seeking an Admissions Therapist/Social Worker to support patients’ biopsychosocial needs and help them access therapeutic services. You will assist with crisis intervention, short- and long-term family therapy, and discharge planning across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Requirements include a Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a clinical field and state licensure as t-LMHC, LMHC, LMSW, or LISW.
Clive Behavioral Health opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at this location focuses on crisis management, stabilization and development of a plan to return to community living with, if needed, supportive outpatient services and community services and resources
The Admissions Therapist/Social Worker performs social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.
