Job summary

Universal Health Services, at Clive Behavioral Health in Clive, IA, seeks an Admissions Therapist/Social Worker to support inpatient and outpatient services for adults, children and adolescents in crisis.

You will provide social work services, crisis intervention, family therapy, and referrals within a skilled treatment team; requires a Master’s in social work and Iowa licensure, plus CPR and mandatory reporter certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or clinical related field.
• Licensed in the State of Iowa as a t-LMHC, LMHC, LMSW or LISW.
• Superb documentation skills.
• Good communication and relationship skills including the ability to set boundaries, hold confidences, establish and maintain trust.
• CPR and Mandatory Reporter for Adult/Child current.

Responsibilities

• Provide social services to meet patients' biopsychosocial needs and support treatment.
• Offer crisis intervention, short- and long-term family therapy, and information/referrals as needed.
• Inpatient and outpatient opportunities available.
