Responsibilities include:
- Implementing and providing individual and family treatment based on treatment plans and therapeutic needs, utilizing current therapy methods as assigned by supervisor.
- Conducting initial evaluations of clients' mental health issues, formulating diagnoses, and developing treatment plans in line with clinical standards.
- Assisting with reminder calls/texts for appointments.
- Conducting sessions for clients on Medication Management Services to develop and review treatment plans.
- Serving as a clinical liaison between clients and the medical team.
- Documenting all client services and contacts accurately.
- Completing clinical documentation, assessments, treatment plans, reviews, and evaluations promptly.
- Managing documentation for insurance authorizations and reauthorizations.
- Gathering necessary documents from clients/families for liability purposes.
- Following liability submission procedures to the approval point.
- Identifying LSBHIDEI as the payor and coordinating authorizations.
- Participating in team meetings, supervision, and case reviews.
- Referring clients to additional services as needed.
- Advocating for clients and protecting their rights.
- Maintaining daily schedules and adhering to agency policies on conduct, confidentiality, and record keeping.
- Performing duties professionally, respecting clients and colleagues.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree preferred in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from a recognized graduate school.
- Experience or training in mental health treatment; experience with evidence-based trauma therapy models is a plus.
