Job summary

Avita is seeking a Full Time RN to handle intake, patient education, and coordination for behavioral health referrals. The role involves interpreting clinical data, engaging with patients, and promoting warm hand-offs to aftercare providers.

You will collaborate with social workers and counselors to develop and revise Treatment Plans, while maintaining compassionate patient care in a 36-hour work week schedule and night shifts.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Georgia or a COMPACT license.
• Ability to obtain and interpret clinical/medical information to expedite referrals.
• Ability to engage with consumers during intake and set expectations.
• Ability to establish therapeutic rapport to promote warm hand-offs to aftercare providers.
• Ability to articulate and provide psychotherapeutic education and group sessions.
• Assist LCSW/LPC with Treatment Plans and revisions.
• Demonstrate empathy to obtain relevant clinical data for Behavioral Health Assessments.

Responsibilities

• Back-up for admission and discharge processing.
• Lead intake interactions and explain unit expectations to patients.
• Provide psychotherapeutic education, wellness and medication education groups.
• Assist in developing and revising Treatment Plans with the clinical team.
