Overview

West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Intake Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Intake Registered Nurse is responsible for coordination of assessments of incoming patients with Intake Patient Access Rep’s and Intake Assessors, coordinates Doctor's assessments and initiates the Admission process. The Intake Registered Nurse provides technical assistance to the discharge planning process, under the direction of the Director of Intake Services.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing either through ADN, Diploma or BSN Program.
• Licensure and certification: Current Texas State Registered Nurse licensure. CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.
• Experience: None. Preferred: Two years of inpatient psychiatric nursing and/or medical/surgical experience.
