Job summary

Chimes seeks a Clinical Support Specialist for its Reading, PA site. This on-site role manages client communication and records, including data entry from intake to release of information, within the Crisis Intervention Program.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least one year in medical/mental health office settings, with related insurance knowledge being a plus. Comprehensive benefits and stability included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical/mental health care office or related professional setting including customer service and data entry.
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer the intake line during business hours.
• Process all new referrals and verify insurance eligibility.
• Transmit referral information to the appropriate person or service within the agency.
• Enter referral information into the electronic record.
