Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls is seeking an Intake Psychiatric RN PRN to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care within the department, aligning with state practice standards. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to implement individualized treatment plans and ensure a compassionate patient experience.

The role requires an active RN license, BCLS certification, and a valid driver license, with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in the state of practice.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 60 days of start date.
• Driver license required for role and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift and report changes.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record promptly.
• Respond to patient requests and deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to tailor holistic treatment plans.
• Support transition of care and coordinate with community resources.
