Job summary

Erie County Office of Children & Youth Services in Erie, PA seeks an Assistant Administrator of Intake to lead program supervision, policy development, and budget oversight. The position requires experience in social work with administration or supervisory capacity, strong coordination with courts, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Social Work, including 1 year in Administration or Supervisory Capacity in a Children and Youth Program.
• Ability to coordinate with courts and state agencies to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise agency program supervisors and review operations for compliance.
• Develop and implement annual plans and budgets in alignment with county policy.
• Represent the agency director at meetings with public, judiciary and officials.
• Ensure adherence to union contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Provide quality assurance review of case records and service delivery.
• Coordinate with legal staff to ensure timely, complete data for court reviews.
• Maintain 24/7 availability in emergencies or designate an administrator successor.
• Oversee staff development, hiring, and disciplinary processes.
• Monitor expenditures and report outcomes to the Director.
• Support agency programs to ensure safety and child well-being.
