Franklin County Municipal Court is seeking an Intake Probation Officer to supervise diverse caseloads, assess risk with ORAS, and coordinate community supervision under the Chief Probation Officer.

You will prepare reports, testify in court when required, and participate in ongoing training to apply evidence-based practices in community corrections, while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with court partners.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or associate degree with two years supervising a caseload
• Willingness to obtain ORAS certification and training

Aufgaben

• Promote and model court policies and supervise specialized caseloads.
• Administer ORAS and other risk assessment tools to guide supervision.
• Complete programming referrals and assess defendant risk using screening tools.
• Develop interviewing skills and document progress in reports.
• Maintain records and communicate with staff and stakeholders.
• Appear in court and testify as needed.
• Participate in trainings and professional development.
