Job summary

Curant Health in Smyrna, GA is seeking an Intake Coordinator-Pharmacy Technician to join our centralized team. You will create patient records and coordinate new orders via phone, fax, or web, supporting the Pharmacy Intake Department from intake to fulfillment.

This role requires accurate data entry, insurance verification, and effective communication with patients, physicians, and pharmacy staff. You’ll gain cross-training across the department and contribute to timely prescription processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration; certification is a plus.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• PioneerRx software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input new patients and coordinate all incoming orders via phone, fax, or web.
• Code clinical data on medical records to document prescription profiles.
• Verify insurance and keep patient records up to date.
• Provide backup support to team members as needed.
• Communicate clearly with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and staff.
• Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
