Avenues Recovery is hiring an intake nurse for our Detox and Residential treatment facility in North Chesterfield, VA. You will manage medical intake, coordinate medications, and collaborate with clinical teams to support seamless care transitions.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year diploma program completed post-high school.
• Current in-state nursing licensure or compact licensure with multi-state privileges.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and work efficiently.
• Compassionate, dignified recovery-focused character.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete medical intake process to ensure a seamless transition into treatment.
• Complete nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, scheduling appointments, and labs).
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and maintain logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and UR teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure complete, timely, and accurate medical documentation for each client.
