Avenues Recovery Center in North Chesterfield, VA seeks an intake nurse for our Detox and Residential facility. You will manage the medical intake process and execute nursing duties during the 9am-9pm shift to ensure a smooth transition into treatment.

You will coordinate pharmacy needs, dispense medications, and maintain accurate med logs while collaborating with extended medical and clinical teams to ensure comprehensive care for each client.

Qualificações

• Nursing diploma or equivalent
• Licensure to practice in-state (or compact with multistate privileges)
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and work efficiently
• Compassionate, professional demeanor aligned with recovery principles

Responsabilidades

• Manage complete medical intake to ensure seamless transition into treatment
• Complete nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, scheduling, labs)
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense meds, keep med logs
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and UR teams for coordinated care
• Ensure accurate medical documentation for each client
