Job summary

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks an Intake Coordinator IPF PRN to coordinate pre-admission assessments and provide clinical evaluations for potential patients. You will engage with the Program Director to ensure timely, confidential assessments and support community education initiatives.

The role requires an RN (or nursing-related degree) with 1-3 years in behavioral health and appropriate Nevada licensure, plus BCLS and CPI within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in a behavioral healthcare setting performing clinical assessments or in a clinical treatment setting preferred.
• Active RN license in Nevada or credentialed mental health licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW, etc.).
• BCLS certification required; CPI certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the pre-admission assessment process with the Program Director and provide clinical assessments for potential patients.
• Assist with community education on clinical issues and participate in community events such as health fairs.
• Complete assessments timely, maintain patient rights/confidentiality, and provide on/off-site clinical assessments for the program.

Skills

Behavioral health experience

Active Nevada RN license or equivalent

BCLS certification

CPI certification within 30 days
