Ridgeview Institute Smyrna is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician (MHT) for Intake to handle inquiry calls, schedule assessments, and assist clinicians and coordinators with intake paperwork and insurance information. The role ensures a smooth admission process and helps monitor patient safety.

The position requires 1 year of intake experience, BA in mental health or related field (RN graduates preferred), and certifications such as CPR/First Aid with CPI training within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Education: BA in mental health or related field; RN graduates preferred.
• Experience: 1 year in intake/admissions.
• Skills: strong communication, data entry, scheduling, and document handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive, schedule and/or refer inquiry calls.
• Assist Assessment & Referral Clinicians, Coordinators, and Directors with coordinating assessments and intake paperwork and insurance information.
• Help ensure smooth transition into admission and monitor patient safety.
