Job summary

Denton Independent School District is seeking a Specialist, Intake/Data to provide intake, data entry, records management, and responsive customer service for North Texas Adult Education and Literacy (NTAEL) programs. You will maintain accurate student and program data, assist with enrollment and assessments, and ensure compliance with district, grant, and state requirements.

You will support students, staff, and community partners with timely information and referrals, while upholding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clerical, office, data entry, or customer service experience (preferred).
• Experience in adult education and literacy or a related educational setting (preferred).
• Working knowledge of records management and document maintenance practices; strong communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enrollment/information inquiries and refer to staff as needed.
• Schedule appointments for enrollment, assessments, and documentation collection.
• Administer, score, and proctor approved program assessments in person or virtually.
• Assist with student intake, orientation, and related program events.
• Assist students with basic technology screening and support.
• Provide information and referrals to community resources.
• Enter, maintain, and verify student/program data in TEAMS for accuracy.
• Maintain student records per district/state requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Respond to TEAMS data questions from staff and partners.
• Collect data and prepare routine program reports.
• Organize and maintain program supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Participate in meetings and professional development.
• Keep current knowledge of applicable policies and guidance.
