Responsibilities

The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a PRN Intake Counselor for our Admissions Department. The Intake Counselor is responsible for managing all aspects of the intake and admission process at The Vines Hospital, including handling inquiry calls, coordinating with referral sources, assessing patient needs, and facilitating the admission of individuals. They ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and that patients receive the appropriate care recommendations. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Location: The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala, FL, is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults and adolescents in a secure and private setting. Services include partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment.

Hours

This position is a PRN status role (as needed basis). A PRN staff member must work at least three (3) twelve‑hour shifts per month, one of which must be a weekend shift. Available shifts are Days 7am–7pm or Nights 7pm–7am.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related behavioral health field.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field preferred; previous assessment experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
