Assessment Counselors assess the needs of callers and patients in our busy 24/7 Intake Department. You will be working with patients who are presenting with mental health or addictive disease treatment needs and will be responsible for ensuring they receive the appropriate level of care, which may include a hospital admission or referral to a community service/resource.
Assessment Counselors are responsible for completing the following duties:
To be successful in this position, you need at least one year of intake/assessment experience preferably in a crisis intervention environment. A master’s degree in a counseling or related field as well as being license‑eligible is required.
