If so, Student Accessibility Services (SAS) with Iowa State University is currently seeking applicants for an Intake Coordinator! This position will be classified as a Student Services Specialist II.
The Intake Coordinator serves as a central point of contact for Student Accessibility Services, supporting the intake and coordination of communications from students, families, faculty, staff, and campus partners. The Intake Coordinator works closely with SAS staff to ensure timely processing of student requests, accurate information sharing, and effective coordination of services. This role requires strong customer service skills, excellent organizational abilities, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
Student Accessibility Services works with students with documented disabilities. Our staff reviews medical documentation to determine eligibility for academic, housing, facilities, assistance animals, and dining accommodations.
This is a one-year, fixed term position with the opportunity for renewal.
Student Accessibility Services partners with students, instructors, and the university community to remove barriers and support equal access to university programs, services, and activities.
