Qualifications

• Knowledge of managed care pre-certification and utilization is preferred.
• Strong interviewing and assessment abilities; experience with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates intake, admissions, and prior authorization for incoming patients.
• Verifies insurance benefits and communicates findings to patients and staff.
• Provides coverage for call center duties during high volume periods.
• Assesses patient status and determines appropriate level of care.
• Collaborates with clinical staff to ensure prompt admissions.
