Job summary

The Bowery Mission in New York invites qualified candidates for the Intake Coordinator role on the Tribeca Campus Choose Help team. You will develop integrated, faith-based clinical support to help shelter guests access quality holistic care and achieve their goals.

You will support Choose Help Social Workers, coordinate care, refer guests to services, lead wellness groups, and ensure accurate data recording. Schedule includes Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-6:30pm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in ministry, nonprofit, or human services with caseload support.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Strong administrative and data-recording skills.
• Proficient in Office software and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with guests to motivate change and coordinate care.
• Refer guests to internal programs and external resources.
• Manage a caseload and conduct regular check-ins with guests.
• Schedule appointments, arrange transportation, and track progress.
• Lead wellness and life-skill groups at the Day Center.
• Maintain accurate guest records and attendance in the system.
