Job summary

OhioGuidestone, a leader in behavioral health in Ohio, seeks an Intake Specialist to greet clients, route referrals, and support care coordination. You will ensure compassionate, compliant client onboarding and facilitate connections to internal and external services.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate intake records, protecting privacy, and collaborating with Finance to ensure clean claims. A supportive team environment and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience in healthcare with children, youth or families preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls to receive referrals or route to appropriate personnel.
• Orient clients empathetically while complying with state and federal regulations.
• Facilitate referrals and coordinate care for client treatment.
• Ensure accurate intake documentation within required time frames.
• Maintain confidentiality as required by law.
• Collaborate with Finance and Benefit Eligibility to ensure clean claims.
• Demonstrate leadership and promote a team-based, inclusive culture.
